The BMW M1 Hommage blends a wide, aggressive stance with intentionally retro/modern twists on the key visual elements that defined Paul Bracq's original BMW Turbo concept and the Giugiaro-designed M1 homologation special that followed. It is instantly recognizable as an M1, particularly in profile, where the M1 Hommage's basic shape clearly mimics that of its forebear. BMW's stylists also incorporated similar nods the particulars of the original, such as the louvered rear window; the badge placement in back; the line extending aft from the side glass; and even the wheel design, which is an exaggerated take on the ones you'll find on the . Poring over the details of the Homage is akin to going on an Easter Egg hunt.

Otros cambios en la estructura tienen como objeto aumentar la protección de los ocupantes en caso de impacto. También ha mejorado la protección de los peatones: entre otras medidas, los ejes sobre los que pivotan los limpiaparabrisas están pensados para que se desacoplen bajo ciertas circunstancias y se ha dejado una cierta cantidad de sitio libre debajo del capó con objeto de aumentar el espacio de deformación en caso de atropello.

De momento no ha dado los datos de las medidas de cada carrocería, sólo dice que el nuevo modelo es significativamente más ancho y ligeramente más bajo que el modelo al que reemplaza. Tampoco dice el si familiar (Tourer) tiene una distancia entre ejes diferente a la del modelo de cuatro puertas (que es lo que ocurre en el actual Accord).

El nuevo Accord cuenta con un total de tres motores, dos gasolina y uno diésel. Tal y como comentamos, todos los motores cumplen las normativas de emisiones Euro 5.

La gama de motores estará compuesta por tres variantes, uno Diesel y dos de gasolina. El Diesel ahora se denomina «i-DTEC» y tiene 150 CV con una cilindrada de l. Está basado en el anterior «i-CTDi» de 140 CV pero tiene cambios para que dé más potencia y para que cumpla una norma de emisiones más estricta, la Euro 5.

Durante la noche Honda dio a conocer oficialmente el nuevo Honda Accord 2008 para el mercado americano, la octava generación del automóvil más vendido de la marca japonesa. Muchos son los cambios que llegan con esta nueva edición, la cual está disponible en versiones sedán y cupé, con un diseño más atrevido y sofisticado.

The Honda S2000 is a two-seat roadster that?s the size of a small Mazda Miata and has the speed of a Porsche Boxster.
A 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual transmission is equipped to the S2000, producing 237 horsepower and 162 pounds-feet of torque. The S2000 has a stiff suspension, and comes with a molded top cover (body-colored hardtop optional) and leather-trimmed bucket seats. All-disc anti-lock brakes come standard. The CR trim (which stands for ?Club Racer?) is also available in 2009, with standard aluminum hardtop, specially designed aerodynamic front spoiler and rear wing, upgraded suspension, and cloth seats with synthetic suede trimmings. Wireless USB is the cable-free variant of the widely familiar USB (Universal Serial Bus) standardised interface. The new technology not only renders a data transfer cable superfluous, it also allows the use of applications requiring high bandwidth, such as video transfer. Wireless USB is based on ultra-wideband (UWB) short-range radio technology. UWB is a technology which could enable future IT and entertainment electronics products (e.g. laptops, mobile phones, digital cameras and televisions) to transfer large quantities of data over short distances wirelessly. Technology currently allows for transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbit/s. That equates to the bandwidth of the wired USB2.0 standard. As well as the convenience of wireless connectivity, wireless USB also ensures data security through 128-bit AES encryption.

In-car Bluetooth audio streaming
The BMW Group is currently working on an in-car Bluetooth-based playback solution for music files. In the future we can look forward to stereo-quality music streaming from a compatible device via Bluetooth to the vehicle's infotainment system, without the music files having to be transferred to the car before listening. This capability will use the Bluetooth A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) and AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile) standards. A2DP takes care of the actual audio streaming, while AVRCP allows the audio output to be controlled through the car's infotainment system. Devices are currently available based on AVRCP 1.0 and 1.3, which allow audio streaming but only with simple remote control functions such as start, stop, pause and skip. Bluetooth audio streaming will only be able to offer the convenience you expect in a BMW Group car - i.e. functions such as track selection - when AVRCP 1.4 arrives. The development of this standard is ongoing.
